This small garden space in Bedfordview required a makeover to fit in with the theme of the home. One of the major problems the home owners faced was drainage, as they were accepting much of the water from their complex’s driveway. During heavy rains the back section of the garden would frequently get water-logged. Grounded Landscaping began by designing and installing a drainage system that would catch the water before it reached the garden, allowing it to flow underground and out of the yard. Once this was complete we then prepared the ground and relaid the existing pavers. Existing plants were re-arranged to suit the new layout, and new species included to replace plants that had died or were not working well. Finally the irrigation system was fixed, as many of the pipes and points had been damaged over the years.
